Annual subscription provides teachers and students access to all STEAMtrax digital 3D printing modules and projects. Curriculum are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and have an accompanying hands-on science kit, sold separately.

STEAMtrax is an innovative new curriculum that integrates engineering and 3D printing technology with core academic knowledge in science, math, language arts, social studies, and art. In the true spirit of the Framework for 21st Century Learning skills, students are engaged in relevant learning scenarios that encourage the essential skills of problem solving, collaboration, communication, clear and critical thinking as well as developing core academic knowledge. Each lesson imbeds 3D design, printing and scanning technology as an integral part of the STEAMtrax Engineering Process.

CUTTING EDGE 3D TECHNOLOGY
Integration of 3D design, printing, and scanning built into each module using the Polar 3D Printer and Polar Cloud Platform. The Polar Cloud supports Google Classroom and Google Apps for Education — and is built for use on any device including tablets, chromebooks, and even mobile phones.
ENGINEERING DESIGN PROCESS
At STEAMtrax, we believe that preparing children to become the engineers of tomorrow requires many hands-on experiences using the engineering design process. One of the biggest paradigm shifts for engineers of all ages is moving from thinking and planning a project design in 2D to visualizing and building a completed project in 3D. Learning to use 3D printers, scanners, and the CAD Design process in conjunction with the engineering design process provides children with opportunities to experience and practice that critical shift in thinking.
